Remembering General de Lafayette, 2026

Kristi Lorin, AARO board member, attended a ceremony on May 20 at General La Fayette's grave site in Picpus Cemetery to represent AARO. Also in attendance were The Sons of the American Revolution, France, The Society of the Cincinnati, France and the Daughters of the Revolution, France as well as American civil and military authorities gathered at the tomb of General La Fayette on the anniversary of his death, May 20. This hero of the American Revolution is honored every year by a changing of the American flag over his grave.
