Americans Helping Americans Abroad

Date: March 07, 2019 14:30

This event is full, but a second event is planned for March 21st.

It is tax season and one of the more onerous tasks for Americans abroad is filing the annual Foreign Bank Account Report (FBAR), also known as Fincen 114. Every US citizen and US Green Card holder (“US Persons”) is required to report his or her accounts outside the United States if the total amount of all those accounts is over USD 10,000.

To help members with this tax task, AARO and AAWE are organizing an FBAR Workshop at the AAWE office on March 7, 2019 in Paris where you can ask questions, and get assistance from volunteers.

These AARO volunteers are bilingual (French/English), experienced FBAR filers. They are not, however, tax experts and cannot give legal advice or respond to complex tax questions.

When: March 7, 2019, 14:30 - 17:00
Where: AAWE, 34 avenue de New York, 75116 Paris, France
Admission: Free
Space is limited to 15 people. If the event is full, send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will put you on a list for a second session.
