President Macron of France has stated that he plans to raise the challenges that dual French-U.S. citizens face because of FATCA to President Biden during President Macron’s visit to the U.S.
AARO has written a letter to President Macron thanking him for addressing this issue and offering to help the French government advocate to the U.S. government on behalf of French residents and citizens impacted by U.S. laws applied extraterritorially.
