Americans abroad are voting in the 2018 Midterm Elections in unprecedented numbers, and news outlets are picking up on it. NBC recently published this article on Americans' efforts to get out the vote from abroad. In addition to speaking with several individual overseas Americans (including AARO's own Victoria Ferauge), the article cites impressive statistics: according to the U.S. Vote Foundation, requests for ballots from Americans abroad have increased sevenfold from 2014.

This increase speaks to a hightened level of concern about U.S. politics on the part of Americans abroad, but also to the efforts of the many associations encouraging and helping Americans overseas to cast their votes this year.
